TRIP DETAILS: GANGA full day

REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY

  • Must be 14 years old or above

  • Must not suffer from any medical or physical condition that prohibits the participant from partaking in physical exercise

ITINERARY

The trip starts at 8:30 am from our meeting point in Rishikesh. We drive 35 km upstream (about 1 hour) to Kaudiyala, to start the river trip. After a comprehensive safety briefing, we change into our rafting gear and get on the water. We raft down 32 kms on big volume Ganga whitewater (5 hours), including adrenaline pumping rapids like "Daniel's Dip", "The Wall", "Three Blind Mice", "Crossfire", "Bodysurfing", "Return to Sender", "Roller Coaster", "Golf Course" and lots more. We stop around noon for a tasty lunch on a quiet beach. After lunch we get back on the water to continue to encounter the big rapids. The trip ends short of Laxman Jhula. We take out and then drive 10 minutes back to the office, reaching by 4:00pm. 

LAND COST

Rs 3,575 per person

Cost includes: Transfer from Rishikesh to the starting point, sightseeing and activities as noted in the itinerary, accommodation in hotel/inns/camping in villages, rafting and camping fees, and all arrangements in the field, including camp meals, cook staff and group gear. Costs include rafting equipment – life jacket, helmet, wet suit, raft guide, safety kayaker; we have unmatched top of the line self-bailing rafts and accessories used by professionals globally. Also included in the cost is expert leadership. With the country's most experienced guiding team, we assure the first-timer and even the non-swimmer a trip of a lifetime.

Cost excludes: Airfare/train/surface, sleeping bags, expenses of personal nature (sodas, alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, laundry, etc.) insurance (we strongly recommend you purchase the supplementary trip insurance which includes trip cancellation insurance), etc. Cost also excludes any costs arising out of unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, landslides, road conditions or any other circumstances beyond our control. Airfare is not included in the land cost of our trips. For air reservations, we recommend you contact the airlines directly, either by phone or the Internet. Please check with our staff before purchasing or obtaining your tickets. We need to verify your arrival and departure schedule and ensure we have enough participants to operate the trip.
