Tawangchu Tides Kayak Festival

Anvesh was honored to be Chief Judge at the inaugural event of Tawangchu Tides Kayak Festival in Arunachal Pradesh. The event occurred in February and details can be found at their website.

On the flight over, Anvesh was amused when he noticed himself in the inflight magazine:

According to Anvesh, the event was extremely well organized. The only drawback was its remote location at the border with Bhutan. Although beautiful, the drive over required crossing challenging snow-covered passes. Overall, Anvesh left with the feeling that we’ll be seeing some seriously talented athletes emerging from Arunachal Pradesh in the coming years.
