Tawangchu Tides Kayak Festival

Anvesh was honored by the request to be Chief Judge at the inaugural event of Tawangchu Tides Kayak Festival in Arunachal Pradesh. The event occurred in February and details can be found at their excellent website: www.tawangchutides.com

On the flight over, Anvesh was amused when he noticed himself in the inflight magazine:

According to Anvesh, the event was extremely well organized, setting it apart from other kayak festivals. The only drawback was its remote location at the border with Bhutan. Although beautiful, the drive over required crossing snow-covered passes, which was challenging. Overall, it was a wonderful event and we’re already looking forward to next year.
