Grateful in 2024
Lots to be grateful for in 2024!
10. We are grateful for our fourth annual roadtrip through Uttarakhand.
We were so lucky to explore another gorgeous corner of Uttarakhand in January. We got to see so many friends along the way!
9. We are grateful for kayak festivals.
Anvesh served as the Chief Judge in the inaugural edition of Tawangchu Tides, the first kayaking festival of Arunachal Pradesh, in February. Read the full story at our blog.
8. We are grateful to introduce people to kayaking.
We love this sport and we always enjoy helping people fall in love with it too. We held a particularly memorable Beginners Kayak Session in March.
7. We are grateful for an adventure with a good friend.
We spent one month exploring Uttarakhand from East to West, seeing temples, rivers, homestays, jungles and more along the way. So many adventures in April!
6. We are grateful for a river trip with good friends on the Kali.
Eight days in the Kali River corridor is always good, despite the smoke from the wildfires.
5. We are grateful for rivers in different parts of the world.
Anvesh again worked for Momentum River Expeditions in the summer, running the Kern and Cal-Salmon in California, the Salmon in Idaho, and the Rogue in Oregon.
4. We are grateful for the schools we continue to work with.
We can’t name them and we can’t post close up photos, but we appreciate these student groups just the same.
3. We are grateful to friends who come and visit.
We helped a group of friends and keen paddlers from the USA explore the rivers of India in November.
2. We are grateful for the hope that the next generation brings.
In the best news of the end of the year, our river guide Jangu welcomed his first child into the world. Welcome, little one, and congratulations to Jangu and his wife!
1. We are grateful for YOU.
As always, we appreciate our friends and family whose support means everything to us. We know we’ve been quiet this year, but good things are coming. Stay tuned…
